Our projects include the following:
Designing online training for the UK’s Wildlife Crime Unit and The Angling Trust
With the goal of training more police officers on wildlife crime issues, we are working with the UK Wildlife Crime Unit on building a new Digital Training Academy by April 2025. Our role is to design training courses on areas such as the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species and the protection of species such as birds of prey, badgers and bats in the UK.
We are also collaborating with the Angling Trust, a membership organisation working to prevent illegal fishing. We are providing its new digital Fisheries National Enforcement Training, aimed at supporting voluntary bailiffs, fisheries, clubs and anglers in stopping the theft of fish and other crimes associated with the freshwater fishing industry.
Working with Partners to find Innovative Conservation Solutions
We have teamed up with the Zoological Society of London, an international conservation charity with a mission to restore wildlife in the UK and globally, in a bid for research funding to improve the approaches to the capture of forensic evidence at scenes of wildlife crime.
Building Digital Ecosystems
In line with our belief that innovation and technology can enhance animal welfare, conservation and wildlife enforcement systems, we are building Poacher Alert and Nature Vanguards. These two products are digital ecosystems which inform, connect and improve communication between relevant stakeholders involved in nature conservation, wildlife enforcement and animal welfare.
